How It Works
All calculations use Swiss Ephemeris compiled to WebAssembly — the same precision library used by professional Vedic astrology software including Jagannatha Hora (JHora). Planetary positions are accurate to arc-second precision. Divisional charts have been cross-verified against JHora output.
The app runs entirely in your browser. No backend server handles your data. Charts, dashas, and panchang are computed locally on your device, including offline after the first load.

North Indian vs South Indian chart — what's the difference?Both display identical planetary data in different layouts. North Indian uses a diamond grid with fixed house positions. South Indian uses a square grid with fixed sign positions. Switch between them any time in the app.

Does it work on mobile and offline?Yes. Hora Prakash is a Progressive Web App — install it to your home screen from the browser, no app store needed. After the first load, all calculations work fully offline.

Which ayanamsa options are available?Lahiri (Indian government standard, default), Krishnamurti (KP system), Raman, and others. Change in Settings — all charts and dashas recalculate automatically.
